Neshoba County School District & Students Honor School Board during National Recognition Week

The Neshoba County School District gathered on February 9, 2024, to recognize National School Board Recognition Week (February 12-16, 2024). Mr. Josh Perkins praised the Neshoba County School Board for their hard work and commitment to the district.

During the meeting, students from different classes showed their appreciation by giving board members thoughtful gifts. The event highlighted the teamwork within the Neshoba County School District.

Elementary art teacher Tanya Kilpatrick and five students presented hand made Thank You cards and a banner.

Middle school teacher Jamie Childs and three students presented laser-engraved wooden coasters.

HighImage of Elementary Art Students School Technology Student Association sponsor and Engineering Teacher Sedera Anderson and four students presented laser-engraved cutting boards, tumblers, and 3D printed rockets.

The students and staff want to thank the school board for their support. The district expresses "It's a small way to say a big thank you for the school board's dedication to our success."

The Neshoba County School District remains committed to creating a positive and supportive learning environment. National School Board Recognition Week is an opportunity to celebrate those who make a difference in the community's educational journey.
