Welcome to English II

It is my goal for this year to give students the best opportunities to master the necessary skills to not only pass the MAAP EOC test, but also skills that will make them successful in both later courses and in life. English II is a rigorous course that includes reading fiction and nonfiction passages and writing. Fiction pieces include poetry, short stories, and novels. Nonfiction pieces include articles, speeches, biographies and autobiographies. Writing will encompass narrative, expository for both literary and informational topics, and argumentative.
