NCMS Principal, Mr. Jacob Drury, named Mississippi Association of Secondary School Principals (MASSP) Middle School Principal of the Year!

Mr. Jacob Drury is currently serving as the principal at Neshoba Central Middle School in Philadelphia, Mississippi. Mr. Drury has 11 years of educational experience at the middle and high school level. After beginning his career at Armstrong Middle School in Starkville, Mississippi, he moved to George Washington Carver Middle School in Meridian, Mississippi where he was named teacher of the year in 2015. After serving as assistant principal at both Meridian High School and Northeast Lauderdale High School in Meridian, Mississippi, he was named the lead principal at Neshoba Central Middle School. In 2022, Neshoba Central Middle School grew 99 accountability points and ranked as the 6th highest middle school in the state of Mississippi. Mr. Drury was named the Neshoba County School District Administrator of the year, and he was also selected to be a member of the State Superintendent of Education Principal Advisory Council.
