Hello! I'm Mrs. Fulton,

I have 27 years of educational experience. I am a 1981 graduate of Louisville High School.  After working in industry for 10 years, I became a non-traditional student at East Central Community College and completed my Bachelor's of Science in Secondary Education  at MSU Summa Cum Laude in May of 1995.  I returned to MSU to complete a M.S. in Secondary Education in 2001 and a M.A. in History in 2005.  I have been certified by the National Board for Professional Teaching Standards since 2006.  I worked in Choctaw County Schools  at Ackerman High School for 16 years.  While there I received multiple Teacher of the Year awards, was chosen as STAR Teacher twice, and received Choctaw County Teacher of the Year in 2007.  I have taught at Louisville High School for the last 10 years and received Teacher of the Year in 2015 and 2017.  Another highlight of my teaching career was being interviewed by NBC Lead Education correspondent Rheema Ellis for a segment on the 20th anniversary of the 9/11 attacks which aired on Sunday Today with Willie Geist in September 2021.

I am married to Jody Fulton of Louisville and we have two daughters, Jessica and Lorynn, six grandchildren, and two "fur babies".  In my leisure time I enjoy spending time on the Tenn-Tom waterway, traveling, and scrapbooking.
