Solar System: Neptune
Neptune is the 8th planet from the sun. It’s distance from the sun is 4,504,300,00 km, and the distance from Earth is 30,0611 km. Neptune has 13 moons, and it’s mass is 1.0243x1026 kg. The first two thirds of Neptune is composed of molten rock, water, liquid ammonia and methane. The outer third is a mixture of heated gasses of compromised hydrogen, helium, water, and methane. Methane gives Neptune its blue cloud color. |
