We have completed the Quick Draw, Scrabble, Quiz Bowl, and Chess competitions for the year. NCES hosted Quick Draw to at least 180 students.  We had a great success. The last thing that's coming up is Art in the Park. We will be working on art in class.

We have just completed the Preliminary Tournament for Mississippi's Destination ImagiNation. We went Saturday March 5 to Madison Station.  Congratulations to these students for placing in the Tournament:

Katelyn Fredrick, Alex Barlow, Sam Lovorn, Zach Peden, Caleb Stark, Rusty Smith, and Aaron Mathes will also get to continue on to the State Tournament.

These teams will continue to compete at the State Tournament on April 9.  Let's congratulate these students and Mrs. Seward for their hard work.

On March 3, Mrs. Stroud's class performed their Rising Stars Challenge in the NCES Auditorium.  Each class did a great job! Thank you for all of your hard work!
