NCHS Band Earns Honors

This past weekend our Band Program represented Neshoba Central with great pride!!!!!!!!

Band members attended the East Central Mississippi Band Directors Workshop, hosted at Ridgeland high school. At this workshop 8 out of 9 students earned a position in the HONORS band. Students audition before a panel of judges students and are evaluated on scales/rudiments, sight reading skills, and a prepared solo. There were  over two hundred students in attendance with 25 schools  represented. Clinton, Ridgeland, North West Rankin, Philadelphia, Newton County, Terry, Morton, Meridian, West Lauderdale, and New Hope High Schools were some of the schools at this event.

The school district is extremely proud of our students achievements at Neshoba Central!
