Neshoba Central High School will host an Advanced Placement (AP)/Dual Credit Fair on Monday, April 15 at 6 pm in the chorus room. The purpose of this event is to present information regarding our selection of Advanced Placement and Dual Credit courses for the 2013-2014 school year.
Advanced Placement offers motivated and academically prepared students an opportunity to earn college credit while in high school. These courses are taught by teachers with the proper endorsement who are passionate about their course of study and are eager to instruct students in the rigorous content included in the course. AP courses assist students in developing the proper study skills, critical thinking, and problem solving skills they will need as they enter college.
Dual Credit courses are college level courses offered at NCHS in conjunction with ECCC. Students are awarded both high school and college credit by passing the course. Both AP and Dual Credit are rigorous courses which encourage students to perform at the highest levels of achievement.
We look forward to seeing you and answering any questions or concerns you may have.
